HAPPY DAYS

It’s been two months that I came to Hyd from Pune. I came to Hyd on August 19th and joined the project on 20th. First week was really cool. Due to access related issues, I couldn’t work for the project. Entire week, no project related work – just coming to office and waiting till evening and leaving at 530 pm.

After that, from 27th, I never left to my appt before 2 am. Horrible !!! I worked for more than 16 hrs a day for that project. I still remember one day – I came at 9 am … worked till 4 am the next day … went to dorm and slept till 7 am. Again came back and started working till that afternoon and then went to my appt to sleep.

After coming to hyd, the first two months, I didn’t watch a single movie bcoz of project pressure. Finally, looks like HAPPY DAYS started for me in Hyd. Project completed on 19th October and I was allocated to a new project on 22nd. On the same day, Phanindra called me for a 2nd show to HAPPY DAYS. Directly, I went to the theatre from the office and got one ticket for me (per head only one ticket sir). Poor chap – Phanindra – didn’t stand in the Q (expecting that i'll get a tkt for him) and as a result couldn’t get one for him. Finally, he ended up buying the ticket in black and watched the movie. But the gud thing is that Phanindra got a NEW girlfriend near the theatre. Looks like HAPPY DAYS started for Phanindra also. Congrats Phani !!!

I prefer thanking Shekhar Kammula rather than congratulating him w.r.t the movie. Really a nice one !!! Shekhar – u might have taken those guys to GOA instead of Vizag. Poor chaps, might have enjoyed MORE in Goa. If given a chance, I don’t hesitate to join an engineering college again. No – not my college (KSM alias KUCE) again … some other college at the other extreme. How about studying Engg in Pune ??? Wherever it might be, one thing is for sure – even If I join as a fresher – the final year students will call me Uncle !!!

My PL asked me to avail comp-off leaves from my previous project – So from tomorrow till Nov 5th - 10 days - bye bye Kanbay alias Capgemini. HAPPY DAYS started …… Wait … HAPPY DAYS started – that’s ok – but started for me or Kanbay ????

Pune Days - 2

Pune Days …. Memorable days …. During a week’s stay in Kundan Palace …. We started searching for an apartment. After seeing some appts and rooms, we finally ended with EMPIRE ESTATE # H-302.

6 of us – Me, Avinash, Aditya, Nagaraj, Rajan and Bala - started sharing the 3 BHK. Of these, Rajan and Bala are from Tamil Nadu.

The best part of my Pune days was my trips around Pune.

We used to plan during the weekdays to go out for a trip over the weekend. As a part of that, Aditya used to do some kind of R&D. Thanks to GOOGLE.

After the R&D, we used to hire a vehicle either well in advance or on the day of the trip. We used to start on Saturday early morning and return by Sunday midnight. Two days away from work, away from Pune, away from everything ….

One good thing about Pune is the climate. Irrespective of any climate, surrounds places will invite you for a trip. Of all the seasons, u can enjoy much in Rainy. As told in my previous post, I went to Pune in October. It took one month to settle completely in Pune. Then we started trips in the month of November.
